The Old Switcharoo!

3 12 2007

Today’s drama experiment involves taking your character to another level by switching places with another performer! We will switch monologues with each other and then act out the monologue and be graded on the performance. You will return to the blog after each performance in order to leave comments. All comments should be specific and give the monologue owner something to think about that helps them improve their performance :) If you were the one acting out the monologue, you do not need to comment unless you would like to add something you noticed.

Please Remember:

Be honest AND kind at the same time!

No last names!

EVERYONE MUST BLOG!!!

One-Act Play Intro

19 11 2007

A one act play, or more commonly “one act“, or “one-act“, is a short play that takes place in one act or scene, as opposed to plays that take place over a number of scenes in one or more acts. They tend to be simpler and have fewer props, scenery and cast members (sometimes only one). Such plays are often showcased in a series.

Search the internet for One-Act Plays for 5+actors!

You can go to www.google.com and type in “One-Act Plays”

Remember you have to audition for your parts. Look for a monologue on www.whysanity.net
